The various ways the common man can save Mother Earth are:
1. Use Jute bags instead of plastic bags. People want to take up this initiative but cannot because whenever they go out they forget it at home and have bring home their goods in plastic bags as they have no other option. So keep the jute bag in your car or hang it by your main door to remind you to take it along with you wherever you go.
2. Write on both the sides of a paper as this reduces the amount of paper we use.
3. Instead of throwing the apple or fruit seeds we can grow our own plants in our garden or balcony or donate to a garden centre.
4. Stop bringing home plastic bags and the ones which we already have at home should not be thrown away but can be re-used.
5. Re-use cans, plastic bottles, Ice-cream boxes and other plastic commodities by using it to store stationery or any other goods.
6. Hand-write as much as you can and avoid printing documents as much as you can because printer ink cartridges, like plastic, as non-biodegradable.
7. Do not use loud speaker phones during protests, public rallies and events as this causes immense noise pollution.
8. Join the Community Garden Centre so that when at home you feel bored you can go over there and plants seeds and grow plants other than waste electricity by watching TV and working on the computer.
9. People can walk or ride cycles when travelling a small distance .Children can skate over to the supermarket or nearby destinations which fun less laborious and they stop asking parents to drive them in the car instead.
10. People should fill water in buckets and then take a bath rather than soaking into an entire tub full of water and wasting a precious resource.
11. People should start using public transport more often even for long distances so that it reduces the no. of vehicles on the road. People can also make groups and carpool to their destination.
12. Women and girls can discontinue using plastic jewellery and instead buy jewellery made of more eco-friendly products.
13. We should stop buying and using musk perfume or else the musk deer will soon become extinct.
14. Adopt vegetarianism. Instead of slaughtering all kinds of animals, we should respect their existence and become vegetarians to save edible animals from extinction.
15. Manually wash clothes as using a washing machine for this purpose wastes a lot of water.
16. We can start using solar-power appliances (e.g. calculators, lamps etc) than by wasting electricity or battery.
17. Badges and identity cards should be made of hard paper or cardboard other than plastic.
18. If children begin plucking flowers or trampling grass as a kid, then when they grow this arrogance towards Mother Nature will continue and the world will suffer. So encourage children to not perform such action and explain to them the importance of nature.
19. People should group up and have regular visits to the beach and clean it up and recycle the stuff thrown away at the beach.
20. Families should not have more than 2-3 children because if population increases, the need for more products increase which leads to the automatic increase in the no. of factories and industries which is harmful for the environment.
21. People should practice earth hour every week instead of year and turn-off all electrical appliances and go out to the park and enjoy nature instead.
22. Use re-usable materials other than wood to build homes and furniture because use of more wood will result in the cutting down of more trees.
23. Buy dairy and meat products which were not produced by cutting down forests to reduce depletion in forest products.
24. Farmers in India should be made aware of the harmful effects of the slash-and burn cultivation which results in burning the soil which loses its fertility and is unable to grow plants anymore.
25. Farmers should cultivate using seed drills instead of broadcasting because by broadcasting can lead to the wastage of many seeds and future plants.
26. Do not keep the television, radio and other electronical appliances on at the same time because this increases noise pollution.
27. When visiting a beach or a park, do not throw trash on the ground or in the water but throw it in the nearest trashcan or bring it home and throw it in the trash can nearby.  Re-usable materials should be recycled.  Let's use this tips faithfully and see a better, greener earth which was the result of some ideas given by some green teens worldwide.
